Fairfield forecast: Suddenly, 'summer'

After weeks when the daytime high temperature struggled to rise much above the freezing mark, and blustery winds made things feel chillier, southwestern Connecticut will "spring" into the seasonal frying pan with temperatures cresting near 80 degrees.
