Thelma Saffold-Dixon, 50, of West Haven, and Robert Smith, 73, of West Haven, were both charged with breach of peace on Oct. 4 at approximately 3:15 p.m. According to police, Saffold-Dixon and Smith entered into a verbal and physical altercation in the parking lot of Joe's American Bar and Grill, 750 Post Road, Fairfield.
