Cleanup Work Moves Forward Along Fairfield's Mill River

Over the next several weeks, Fairfield residents will see increased activity on the Mill River in preparation for upcoming dredging work, First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced. TRC, the engineering firm that will be conducting the cleanup work, will begin deploying boats, barges, dredging equipment and other equipment into the Mill River adjacent to Exide Group Inc.'s property.
