As a writer, there has been no greater support system and constant since I moved to Fairfield County than the writers group that I helped organize 22 years ago with three continuing-ed students in a creative-writing class I was teaching. While members of the original group have moved on for various reasons, a core of about eight of us continue to provide each other with constructive suggestions, encouragement and wonderful friendship.
