Fairfield police alerted to 'threat' to officers in wake of Baltimore man's death

Fairfield police, at the request of Baltimore authorities, ask the public to be aware of what they call a "partnership" between gangs to "take-out" law-enforcement officers nationwide. The threat, which Baltimore police call "credible," has apparently taken shape in the wake of unrest in the Maryland city following the death of Freddie Gray , a 25-year-old black man who suffered severe injuries and died last week after being taken into police custody.
