Fairfield police are investigating the armed robbery of the Mobil Gas Station on the Post Road at about 11 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said a man wearing a black ski mask and displaying a large dark-colored revolver threatened the clerk and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash, the Fairfield Citizen reports.
