When it comes to early-season clashes during the SWC softball season there's no argument that two teams that are rarely part of the conversation are Kolbe Cathedral and Notre Dame-Fairfield. It's not a slight on either team, just a fact that even both coaches admit is not something that anybody expects once the spring flowers start to bloom.
