Search Underway for Missing Boater

A search was underway tonight for a missing Fairfield boater whose car was found at Westport's Burying Hill Beach. Police from Westport, Fairfield, and a Norwalk marine unit were looking for the boater, reported missing by a woman who called Fairfield police saying her husband did not return from a boating trip.
