Mike Cummings, assistant school superintendent in Milford, will be leaving in July to take a post with the Fairfield school system. After receiving a bachelor's degree in history and politics from Fairfield University in 1984, followed by a master's in history from the University of Notre Dame, Cummings began his career as a history teacher at Joseph A. Foran High School in 1986.
