Fairfield's Shellfish Commission will host a clam clinic event at Sasco Hill Beach on June 20 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for local residents to learn about Fairfield's natural shellfish resources. "This event provides an opportunity for Fairfield residents, including children, to experience the basics of harvesting shellfish while learning the importance of Fairfield's natural shellfish ecosystem," Robert Bilek, Chairman of the Shellfish Commission, said in a press release.
