Police charged a Southport man with being the accomplice in a series of car break-ins and credit-card thefts over the last several months. Jonathan Cooperman , 25, of Anderson Lane in the Southport section of Fairfield, was charged Monday with two counts of third-degree burglary; two counts of third-degree identity theft ; third-degree identity theft ; one count of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary; conspiracy to commit identification theft; illegal use of a credit card, and conspiracy: discussion/intent/act toward commission of a crime.
