A man drowned after a fight in a bar on Fairfield Avenue on the Bridgeport/Fairfield border spilled out to Ash Creek early Saturday, officials said. The Bridgeport Police Department received a call at 1:15 a.m. Saturday about a fight behind Chubby's Bar & Grill at 3488 Fairfield Ave., said a statement from city spokesman Brett Broesder.
