Pharaoh Eaton, 20, of Fairfield, has been charged with criminal attempt at third-degree burglary in connection with a number of burglaries that have taken place near the University of Bridgeport, Conn. Police had increased patrols around the campus following an uptick in robbery and thefts from vehicles in that area during past three weeks, said Kevin Coughlin , the public safety spokesman.
