A special "Pope Express'' train into Grand Central Terminal left the Fairfield Metro station nearly empty on Friday morning, perhaps because riders planning to see Pope Francis left even earlier. "I hear traffic is a nightmare today, so I'm going in on the train,'' Joe Burton of Monroe said.
