The AAA Club of Southern New England recently honored Trumbull as a municipality that had not had a pedestrian fatality in 10 years, through the end of 2011. Trumbull was among 16 municipalities in New Haven, Fairfield and Litchfield Counties to be recognized for their comprehensive safety efforts.
