Fairfield Man with History of Drug, DUI Arrests Faces New Charges

A Fairfield man with a history of DUI arrests, including a conviction for second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle in 2001, was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of cocaine early Tuesday morning, according to the Fairfield Citizen. The Citizen reports that David W. Salerno, 45, of Old Hickory Road, was pulled over due to the darkly tinted windows on his 2009 Cadillac Escalade and for not using his turn signal until he was in the middle of turning right onto the Post Road.
