A hang-gliding enthusiast with ties to Fairfield was killed Sunday when his glider crashed into a mountainside near state Route 52 in Wawarsing, N.Y. Scott Trueblood , 44, of Shelton and a previous Fairfield resident, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash about 6 p.m. Sunday, according to New York State Police.
