STAR, Inc., Lighting the Way was recently awarded a $5,000 grant from the Fairfield-based Near and Far Aid for the "My First Job" program, enabling individuals with developmental disabilities to be placed in their first jobs with support and confidence. The STAR program helps adults with developmental disabilities to obtain appropriate employment and supports them with job training and assistance as they continue to work.
