Bloomberg: GE insiders invoked Monty Python in sale

GE Capital staff referenced General Electric's sell off this year of its lending operations as "Project Monty," according to a Bloomberg report, invoking the comedy troupe Monty Python for the conglomerate's "outlandish" abrupt change of direction with respect to GE Capital. Bloomberg reported that Fairfield-based GE first broached the idea of a sell off of GE Capital during November 2014, with the news outlet having interviewed GE Capital CEO Keith Sherin and Aris Kekedjian, managing director and global head of global business development and mergers and acquisitions.
