A Bridgeport man was sentenced to three years of probation for illegally importing a tablet machine to produce oxycodone pills in Fairfield. Jason Oliviera, 35, who must serve the first six months of his sentence in home confinement, was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill, according to a press release from U.S. States Attorney Deirdre M. Daly.
