Ex-Fairfield Housing Authority director charged with embezzling

The Fairfield Housing Authority's former executive director, who left the post abruptly to take a similar job in Truth or Consequences, N.M., and then was terminated from that post, has been charged with embezzling $30,000 from the Fairfield housing agency.
