Fairfield forecast: Light snow, strong winds ... then more snow

The precipitation, along with winds gusting as high as 30 mph, has triggered a Coastal Flood Advisory from the National Weather Service this morning until 9 a.m., with the greatest threat of flooding during the high-tide period of 7 a.m. The snow may continue until noon, when it is expected to change to rain, according to the NWS.
