Cousins Avellina Progano and Francesca Naccarato had different reactions to their visit with Santa Claus at the Burr Homestead Friday at the 34th annual Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival. Avellina, 18 months, of Fairfield, was frightened of the man in red -- although she hugged a plush Santa on display in another room -- while Francesca, 7 months, of Buffalo, N.Y., was mesmerized by her first visit with Santa.
