Westport Water Rat swimmer and Fairfield resident Jude Dequeljoe , eight, bettered a long-standing record Nov. 21 at the Wonders Meet at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club in Stamford. Dequeljoe went 1:10.68 in the 100-yard freestyle, eclipsing the previous record set by Mark Franks in 1982.
