William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty's Southport brokerage will be collecting food items for Fairfield's Operation Hope Food Pantry from now through Dec. 31. Operation Hope was established in 1986 as a result of local residents' awareness of numerous individuals in the community unable to meet their own basic needs of food and shelter. With a common community goal in mind, food and emergency shelter was provided to people in the area, and Fairfield's Operation Hope was born.
