Fairfield will hold its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, Aug. 29 at Veterans Park on Reef Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Since May 1990, the towns and cities which are members of HazWaste Central have disposed of and recycled more than 1,000,000 gallons of hazardous waste. On Saturday August 29, 2015, the Town of Fairfield will need volunteers from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
