Fairfield-based Near & Far Aid has awarded a $20,000 grant to the AmeriCares Free Clinics in Bridgeport and Norwalk to support health care programs for low-income Fairfield County residents without health insurance. The grant will defray operating expenses for both the Weisman AmeriCares Free Clinic, 115 Highland Ave., Bridgeport, and the Bob Macauley AmeriCares Free Clinic, 98 S. Main St., Norwalk.
