A Fairfield man is accused of driving under the influence and several other charges after allegedly driving through a red light early Friday morning, according to the Fairfield Citizen. The Citizen reports that Robert M. Smith, 42, of Kenwood Avenue, was pulled over after driving through a red light on Grasmere Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 19. Following a search, police found marijuana, two pipes, naloxone and valium in Smith's pockets and backpack, according to the Citizen.
