Robert Smith, 42, of Fairfield, was arrested early Friday after driving through a red light.

Robert M. Smith , 42, of Kenwood Avenue, faces several charges, including driving under the influence, after police said he drove through a red traffic light early Friday on Grasmere Avenue. In addition to driving under the influence, Smith was charged with failure to obey a traffic signal and failure to keep prescription drugs in the original container.
