Rip Littig of Fairfield portrayed John Hancock and his real-life wife Jill Littig took the role of Dorothy Quincy on the grounds of the Burr Homestead for a re-enactment of the Hancock-Quincy nuptials, which took place Saturday at the original Burr Mansion on Aug. 23, 1775.
