A Fairfield woman is accused of insurance fraud and other charges after looking to "get rid of" her 2009 Jeep Patriot when she had trouble making the payments and enlisted a friend to help her, according to the Fairfield Citizen. Lina Corchado, 36, of Nordstrand Avenue, turned herself in to Fairfield Police last Thursday and her friend Jenny Valentin, 35, of Bridgeport, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday, according to the Citizen.
