The ongoing Brian Williams saga has reached Fairfield with the resurfacing of a video showing the NBC anchorman claiming he was fortunate to survive enemy attacks during a 2007 interview with a Fairfield University student, according to Poynter.org. At a reception a few minutes ago, I was remembering something I tend to forget, the war with Hezbollah in Israel, a few years back, where there were Katyushka rockets passing just beneath the helicopter I was riding in.
