The family and friends of Lee Faiga, the Fairfield Warde student severely injured in a car accident on May 27, are thanking the town's first responders for going "far over and above their call of duty." In a letter to the Fairfield Citizen , the family and friends write that "From the moment they arrived on scene and to date, the Fairfield police have shown compassion and professionalism and, we suspect, have gone far over and above their call of duty.
