By the time we moved into our new rental home last summer, we had missed all the spring perennials and found ourselves looking at front and back yards that looked more like a jungle. It took until August before my landscape guy Charlie, who had worked with us at our Fairfield home, was finally able to get over for regular cuts and some well-needed landscaping work that wouldn't cost a fortune.
