Town sets Sasco clamming clinic Saturday

"This event provides an opportunity for Fairfield residents, including children, to experience the basics of harvesting shellfish while learning the importance of Fairfield's natural shellfish ecosystem," Robert Bilek , the chairman of the Shellfish Commission, said in announcing the clinic. Participants will be taught harvesting techniques and can keep their own catch.
