A Westport engine company provided station coverage in Fairfield tonight as all on-duty Fairfield firefighters and units from Bridgeport battled a warehouse fire at the former Fairfield Lumber site at 185 Thorpe St. A resident said smoke was visible from Westport's Stop & Shop on Post Road East near the Fairfield line.
