Fairfield resident Angela Aulenti, the Head Golf Professional at Stamford's Sterling Farms Golf Club and also Director of Golf for the city's E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course, has been selected by the Ladies Professional Golf Association to receive the 2014 Nancy Lopez Golf Achievement Award. The national honor recognizes an outstanding member of the LPGA's Teaching and Club Professionals division who reflects qualities valued by Hall of Fame legend Lopez: leadership, passion, giving and approachability.
