Man fatally struck by Boston-bound Amtrak train in Fairfield, Conn.

The victim is a white man in his 50s whose identity has not been released, according to Lieutenant Keith Broderick of the Fairfield Police. Police received a call from the train's conductor at about 6:20 p.m. reporting that the train struck a pedestrian in the tracks at the downtown Fairfield train station, said Broderick.
