A Fairfield woman was arrested late Friday night for allegedly attacking her husband while he slept , including punching him in the face and threatening him with a butcher knife, according to the Fairfield Citizen. The Citizen reports that Karen Smith, 40, of Taunton Road, is accused of attacking her husband as he slept in a spare bedroom with the couple's 8-year-old daughter.
