Boater Found Dead Off the Coast of Westport

Westport and Fairfield police found the boater's rowing skull on the Cockeone Island beach and then discovered the body of William Supone, 61, of Fairfield, in the Cockeone Bay mud flats while searching the area on foot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
