Fairfield Police Chief Honors Officers' Military Service

In an effort to find a way to honor his officers that have served in the military on more than just one day, Fairfield Police Chief Gary MacNamara has arranged for new pins that the officers can wear every day on their uniforms to give them some extra recognition, according to the Fairfield Citizen. MacNamara told the Citizen that the officers have not only served their country, but are now serving their community and "they shouldn't just be recognized on Veterans Day."
