A Deerfield Street man was charged on a warrant Saturday with driving under the influence in connection with a single-car accident Feb. 22. Matthew J. Tyrrell , 55, was driving north on Park Avenue when he lost control of the car on the snow-covered road and crossed the double-yellow traffic line, hitting a snow bank, according to the report. Tyrrell was unable to tell them where he had been, where he was going or how the accident happened.
