Paul Ryiz of Shelton and Ken Green of New Fairfield share the lead at 4-under-par 67 with two others after the first round of the Connecticut Senior Open on Monday at the historic Shennecossett Golf Course. Ryiz grabbed the early clubhouse lead with the help of late-round fireworks, carding a double-eagle 2 s on the par-5 18th hole, to go along with three birdies.
