PATTERSON, N.Y. A New Fairfield, Connecticut, woman was arrested Wednesday for stealing from a church where she volunteers, according to New York State Police. Denise Pimentel, 42, of New Fairfield, Connecticut, was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree after an investigation revealed she took $1,023 in cash from the Sacred Heart Church in the Hamlet of Putnam Lake.
