Forecasters are keeping a close eye on a potential weekend nor'easter that could drop more than a half-foot of snow on Fairfield. "A potential nor`easter Saturday and Saturday night could result in significant snowfall accumulations across the region in excess of six inches," the NWS stated in its hazardous weather outlook .
