A Fairfield man was arrested on several charges after witnesses called police to report the BMW he was driving went over a curb, swerved into oncoming traffic and nearly hit a bicyclist on Fairfield Woods Road at about 5 p.m. on Friday, July 3, according to the Fairfield Citizen. The Citizen reports James B. Davis, 30, of Brooklawn Parkway, admitted to police that he had four or five beers and had taken half of a Xanax that he had a prescription for.
