A Shelton man was arrested for allegedly stalking his former fiancee in Fairfield about 30 minutes after police had warned him to have no contact with her, according to the Fairfield Citizen. The Citizen reports that Filipe M. Monteiro, 34, of White Oak Road in Shelton, was charged after his former girlfriend observed him following her in his car and she drove to Fairfield Police headquarters to file a complaint.
