Seven members of the Misericordia University campus community participated in the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C., in January. Thousands of people participated in the protest march through the nation's capital to the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, including Misericordia University students Mary Boyle, Fairfield, Conn.; Nicholas Kenna, Chantilly, Va.; Justin Lafata, Laflin; Gina Palmiter, South Abington Township; Michael Pheasant, East Stroudsburg, and Jacob Schweiger, Barton, N.Y., and faculty member, Christopher Carr, Ph.D., assistant professor of religious studies.
