Fairfield resident William Dong, 23, was sentenced Thursday to five years on probation for a federal weapon charge related to a Dec. 2013 incident that led to a lockdown of the University of New Haven campus, according to the Connecticut Post. Dong was arrested by West Haven Police in December 2013 after a concerned person called police and said she saw that a man had a rifle in his car in the vicinity of the University of New Haven.
