Sacred Heart University in Fairfield broke ground Wednesday, Oct. 22 on a 87,000-square-foot, 216-bed residence hall to be built on the corner of Jefferson Street and Park Avenue across from the nearly completed Frank and Marisa Martire Business & Communications Center. The new residence hall will feature bedroom suite neighborhoods that share small lounges and a bluestone fireplace in a grand three-story maple-paneled lounge on the first floor.
